Erin Ellis Gardner is an artist and photographer living in Fayetteville, AR. She holds a BA in Speech and Theatre from Arkansas Tech and a BS in Architectural Studies from the University of Arkansas. She is currently teaching at the University of Arkansas in the photography department as she works towards her MFA (Spring 2018). Gardner has worked in manufacturing, prototype design, sourcing, the fetish industry, and was a costume and lighting designer for a number of years. Her work, with a focus on bodies that have undergone extreme weight loss, has shown internationally and across the region and she recently mounted a solo exhibition at the Fine Arts Gallery at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
